Stephanie's Scones

Dear Caroline,

After two very inspiring days in London last week, having seen the sunflower seed exhibition in the Modern Tate I was on the plane back with a magazine and learned about your tea and baking-classes. What a pity I had not known before as I would have loved to book a meeting with you and learn about tea or scones.

I found your blog and immediately felt inspired to bake scones. I have done that before, following Delia Smith’s recipe, but this time everything turned out so well! I took photos and sent them to you and thank you for the wonderful recipe! All that was missing is clotted cream of course that we do not get here in Germany.

Next time I come to London I will contact you and make an arrangement!
